For many years I didn’t know how to explain what I do for a living….
When I’d tell people I’m an Intuitive Healer (or, as I get more used to sharing myself in French, 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒆𝒍), they’d look back at me unclear.
𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕? – is the typical question that would come next.
Instead of expecting others to know or leaving a conversation without fully sharing myself, I started leaning into the fun of the 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 job I have, and sharing a more robust description.
I am an Intuitive Healer and although my work is inclusive of psychic ability, coaching, energy healing, & psychotherapy principles – I am not a traditional psychic, Life Coach, reiki healer, or licensed therapist.
When someone comes to work with me (individual, couple, or group) my focus is on how to support them in returning to + enhancing, states of connectivity & wholeness. My intuition is not something I use to predict the future but instead something I use to make others aware of the most probable futures available to them while supporting their ability to consciously choose to step into (or not) those realities.
𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒅𝒐 𝑰 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔?
By listening.
No, not to someones words but the energy behind their words.
When I hear someones voice while in an open/receptive meditative state, I feel, I feel, I feel – my intuition/empathic abilities are indeed my grandest tools – not only can I #feel where their pain is, the gifts they hold, who they are, who they have been, who they can be, and often who they will become – I feel the type of support that would be most beneficial to them in the present moment….𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒏 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒔.
At this point (typically after session #1) I start to lean into the 14 cumulative years of professional *healing training I’ve had, to know how/where to navigate next; 𝑰𝒔 𝒂 𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒓 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒅? 𝑨𝒏 𝒆𝒙𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒏?
𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒂𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒈𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒇 𝒔𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒔, 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒕? 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆, 𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒓 𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍, 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕, 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉 + 𝒃𝒐𝒅𝒚 𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒐𝒅𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒆𝒙𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒆, 𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒊𝒒𝒖𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒌.
I 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒚 listen to where I am led and make sure the individual(s) feel I’m with them along the way.
Most often I find the greatest healing arises in ‘just’ meeting someone in the depth of the present moment; hearing their words, honoring their emotions, and being witness to their experience. ♡
And since there are so many different paths one can take to feel more ‘whole’ & ‘connected’ my work is always evolving (cacao ceremonies, moon rituals, sacred site retreats, etc.)
And then there’s Lustré – but I’ll save that for another time….
For now, I hope I’ve given you a little more context as to what it means to be an Intuitive Healer, from my lens.
